Routine Maintenance Recommendation 

 

Recommendations for Routine Maintenance
In order to facilitate the proper functioning of fitness equipment, after a little period of time it is necessary to follow simple maintenance rules concerning lubrication and control of components positioning.

 

Component                   Periodicity                      Action to perform

Clean weight stack guide rods               Six-monthly                Clean the sliding rods with degreasing agent. Then proceed to the lubrication.

Lubricate weight stack guide rods   Weekly       Lubricate the sliding rods with a cloth soaked in motor oil (DO NOT use lubricants vaseline or silicone)

Lubricate knobs snap   Monthly       Lubricate with grease.

Safety guards   Weekly       Check the correct position of the guards. Check that there are no vibrations of the same during  exercises. Check the screws.

Rotating Pins   Six-monthly       Check positioning and attachment of the hinge pins.

Tightening bolts   Weekly       Check tightness of bolts and nuts.

Frame   Six-monthly       Check that there is structural failure due to improper use.

Stability   Six-monthly       Check machines stability to avoid inclinations of structures and  malfunctions. To correct  Stability errors adopt rubber thickness, putting them under the feet on the ground.

Tensioning cables   Annual       To check the tension of cables make sure the plug of the weight stack comes in all holes. Then act adjuster.
