Research & Development in Luxtrainer

             
Luxtrainer is constantly engaged in many research activities aimed at defining and testing new operational concepts and capabilities to meet changing market needs. Luxtrainer and its experts team goal, is not only improving efficiency but also increase safety levels and the entire quality of products and fitness services. For this, Luxtrainer takes part in numerous  experimentation, simulation and pre-operational validation of new technologies projects and procedures that aim to achieve significant results in terms of safety, efficiency and for an easy use of fitness facilities.

 

 

STEP 1

    

PRODUCT SEARCH

From the beginning, the main project goal is due to the result of a detailed market analysis. Afterwards the specific strategy development is identify by a new product planning.

 

     BRAINSTORMING CONCEPT
It is possible to start the studying design, once research phase of product finished. The product designers, get together to compare ideas and concepts putting it down in black and white, with sketches and rough draft concepts, writed on paper.

STEP 2

    

RENDERINGS CONCEPT

The following assessment of product brainstorming research reduces the new products design in some concepts. The resulting solutions are shown as 3D rendering using SolidWorks, Photoshop and other software. The Computer Aided Design (CAD) provides a new product hole for its future aspect . At this stage it is already possible to evaluate the harmony, the aesthetic design and judge.

 

     GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

The design of graphical user interfaces is necessary to develop an user-friendly product. This planning includes  design and icons design, the warnings name as well as an illustration of the main use forms and the training objective.

 

STEP 3

    

 ERGONOMICS STUDY

In order to develop an user-friendly design, can be managed various studies to improve the comfort level of the final user. Then a further ergonomic analysis is  performed on a model through an experimentation  to collect observations and direct feedback.

 

     DEFINE STYLE MODEL

The purpose realization of a stylistic model is to provide a typical design for the product. In particular, it is created the line that will give style to the product based on the concept of initial product.

 

     MAKING STYLE MODEL

Now can start its implementation phase, after having defined and approved the stylistic model. The resulting model is not functional, so at the same time it is useful to take into account the full harmony, style, design and  to establish the feasibility of hypothesis design.

 

STEP 4

    

DEFINE PRODUCT PROCESS

The  manufacturing processes definition agree with making production and the choice for suitable suppliers. The timely feedback of suppliers reduces time and speeds up the entire process. Beginning with the correct selection of suppliers to the conception and organization of production phases, the goal is to ensure the highest quality in the shortest possible time.

 

     PROTOTYPE DESIGN

The new product design is re-created as a prototype in 3D design software SolidWorks. This prototype contains defined information regarding the materials and components for implementation use. The prototype geometry is a valuable model for final design, however  it is not used directly for production equipment.

 

     PROTOTYPE PRODUCTION

Idea takes shape with the production of prototype. All  components are assembled, as designed, tested materials and criticality underlined. Only after analyzing the results shown by prototype and improved every single aspect that can start the production.

 

STEP 5

    

DEFINITION OF TOTAL QUALITY CONTROL PROCESSES

Every product is carefully checked by a Luxtrainer expert to guarantee its  perfectly work. Tests on  our products quality are made constantly. The technical control shall ensure that each  Luxtrainer product is planed to resist to the  wear and tear of time. This is because only after rigorous testing, from durability of each-component to ability of different elements which working together, the products are quality approved.  Through mechanical and robotic test computer, can ensure that each part of our products is the most resistant daily work that a machine can make. During assemblage phase the Luxtrainer technicians team  monitors continuously the assembly process leading a long list of quality control. Text ends with testing and tuning equipment to ensure smooth and quiet motion. Only after having successfully passed the tests about test equipment this one is ready to use and now the product can be defined as "High Quality Tested". Luxtrainer professional products conform to European rules regarding safety equipment for exercise in accordance with standards DIN UNI EN 957 - 1 / 6 class HB-S.
